TLC Job Application Assistance Workshop held in January 2015

The Jalalabad Association of America, Inc organized an interactive Workshop at the association’s office auditorium. The workshop was held on Sunday, January 18th from 12 pm to 3 pm. The theme of this Workshop was“How to Apply for TLC Jobs Better”. This workshop helped the participants prepare for the different levels of  jobs posted by TLC and for other City, State, and Federal Government positions and projects. Mr. Shamsur Rahman, the ex Vice President of the Association talked to some 150 attendees while other members of the Association helped them understanding the application process. The workshop also laid the foundation towards professional development opportunities through career development and job placement supports. Organized training, workshop and job fairs at the Association’s facilities will follow this.
